Our client in Japan first contacted us due to the videos we produced for another Skateboard product. However, their newly developed product was targeted towards Japanese parents and their children ages 10 years and under. So our brief from the client is that their product was a tool for parents to encourage their kids outside and do some exercise. They wanted the “Caucasian” Aussie look to market the product in Japan, to give it more credibility and that it is westernised influenced. Although the video might appear a bit “cheesy” it is directly targeting the Japanese market.
