MediaSpark approach to training and DVD videos are streamlined and efficient. As we are not selling a product, service or company we don’t need that hero shot, rather we look at training videos with the following important aspects:
Most training videos are based on compliance documents, manuals and instructions. With every video, MediaSpark produces a pre-production script which details what is being recorded. We spend attention to detail in scripting, line by line, scene by scene with our clients in constant review. We utilise the latest cloud based technology for sharing scripts and pre-production outlines with our clients to ensure we are all reading the same documentation.
Through various training videos we have produced, there are many instances where the video needs to specifically point out the most important points. Examples of this could be hazards, warnings and tips. We do this using multiple communication methods within the video. Such as: voice over, split screen, diagrams, animations, screen titles and sound effects. These are subtle techniques but important, especially when compliance needs to be achieved.
Many training and instruction videos instruct people what to and what not to do. This is perfectly illustrated by contrasting examples of each types. We quite often perform this by using simple spit screens to convey the message to the audience – very clear and very easy to understand.
As with all MediaSpark video productions, we aim to broadcast the training messages in the most efficient/shortest time possible. Let’s face it, with multiple types of media services bombarding audiences, we sometimes shorter attention spas to watch long training videos. If it is too long, boring, and monotonous audiences will tune out.
